Requirements of a website:

  1. Domain Name (annual renewal)
  2. Hosting (annual renewal)
  3. Graphic Design & Programming (as needed)

Considerations:

  1. Who is your target market?
  2. What is your goal or what do you hope to accomplish?
  3. What is your budget?
  4. What is your anticipated launch date?
  5. Are you planning on updating the website frequently once the initial design is complete?

Before we can begin:

  1. List 2-3 websites you favor along with the reasons why you like them.
  2. List 2-3 competitor websites to help show your market and what you're up against.
  3. Submit an overview or 'Site Map' to show what pages you would like on your website as well as how they will be connceted to one another.
  4. Submit your logo (in hi-res with transparent background if possible) along with fonts you may require and any printed materials you may have (such as brochures, flyers, etc.).
  5. List your company's colors, fonts, slogans, etc..
  6. Review your 'Site Map' and submit in writing what you would like to say on each page. We will provide the graphic design to spice things up and offer suggestions to help maximize your intent. Be sure to consider such things like:
    1. Name, Address, Phone, etc.
    2. A little background history of the company
    3. Hours of operation
    4. Products you may offer with details pertaining to each
    5. Service you may provide with details
    6. Customer testimonials or a portfolio of your work/client base
    7. Reasons to choose your business over the competition

Rules and Requirements:

  1. We will need your cooperation in obtaining your logo, photos/graphics you would like to use, basic content about your company, and a list of sample sites you favor.
  2. As we are busy working on designing the layout for your site, please begin organizing your information and then forward it over to us. We would ask that you do not start sending random bits of information and/or attachments for us to sift though. By organizing your information first, this will reduce the number of follow-up requests and change-orders.
  3. Every request we receive will need to be documented in the form of an email, fax, letter, etc.. You are welcome to call us and discuss the changes, but we will still need them in writing both for our benefit as well as yours.
